New C3-Cloud video

A new C3-Cloud animated video helps to explain multi-morbidity and how the project’s solutions can help patients and health professionals to work more collaboratively. This video, in English, has been produced by our Swedish pilot site to explain the project to people who could participate in our evaluation study there.

European Commission report

The European Commission has just published its communication to the European Parliament and Council on "enabling the digital transformation of healthcare in the digital single market: empowering citizens and building a healthier society”. This report emphasises the need for digital tools for citizen empowerment and person centred care, the promotion of interoperability standards and better use of data to promote research, disease prevention and personalised care.

MIE2018 Conference

Members of the C3-Cloud project participated at the Medical Informatics Europe conference (MIE 2018), held in Gothenburg, Sweden from 24-26 April 2018. Our work on the use of clinical decision support for personalised care planning (WP7) was presented in a talk and in a demonstration. MIE 2018 is Europe’s largest health informatics conference, attracting an academic, health professional and industry audience.

C3-Cloud’s presence at the Informatics for Health Congress 2017

C3-Cloud will be present at the Informatics for Health Congress 2017, to be held in Manchester, UK between the 24th and 26th April 2017. The Congress brings together Europe’s leading conference, Medical Informatics Europe (MIE2017) from the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) and The Farr Institute International Conference 2017.

New EUR 5 million project that will transform care for multimorbid patients launched

Care for patients with multi-morbid chronic conditions could be transformed by a new ICT infrastructure to be developed in this EUR 5 million EU Horizon 2020 project. 12 partners in seven countries have joined forces, and are combining their expertise to improve care provided to elderly patients with multimorbidity.

Kick-off Meeting, 3-4 May 2016

The kick-off meeting of the C3-Cloud project was held on the 3rd to 4th May 2016 at the University of Warwick campus in Coventry, United Kingdom. The meeting gathered over 25 participants from Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and UK. The two-day meeting was an excellent opportunity for all C3-Cloud partners to meet and discuss the first steps of this four-year project. The C3-Cloud consortium delegates were welcomed by Prof.
